Tribute to Franco Grignani (1908-1999). Italian painter, graphic designer and photographer.
Trained as an architect at the Politecnico di Torino, concerned to increase his own visual vocabulary, he studied
the dynamics of optics from 1950 to the early 1970's. His work on perception, the effects of movement and optical illusions will be applied to a large number of advertisements, symbols à book covers. The retrospectives devoted
to him have made it possible to explore a broaden the link between Fine and Applied Arts.
